KU hosts Devbhoomi Entrepreneurship Scheme camp

Under the Devbhoomi Entrepreneurship Scheme, a two-day camp concluded at the DSB campus of Kumaun University in Nainital. In the course of the camp, students were informed about entrepreneurship and startups. Notably, the Uttarakhand government inked an agreement with the Entrepreneurship Development Institute of India, Ahmedabad under which the students of colleges and universities located across Uttarakhand are to be inspired and trained for entrepreneurship. In the programme, the Uttarakhand government’s student startup scheme was explained in detail.
The project officer at the Entrepreneurship Development Institute of India, Ahmedabad, Abhishek Nandan, in his keynote address, informed the students about how to register in this scheme. About 120 students participated in the programme.
