He informed that the official announcement of the selected candidates will be made soon after approval from the central leadership.

Bhatt informed that the party has reached the final stage of the district president selection process as part of the organisational expansion efforts. He said that he, along with State election officer of BJP Khajan Das and State general secretary (Organisation) Ajaey Kumar, held detailed discussions on the reports submitted by observers sent to all districts. Bhatt stated, “After finalising the list, a discussion was also held with chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami regarding the shortlisted candidates.

Following this, a panel of five names for each district was prepared and submitted to the party’s central observer, Member of Parliament and national president of the BJP Kisan Morcha, Rajkumar Chahar on Tuesday.” The final decision now rests with the central leadership and after their recommendation, the party’s State election officer will officially announce the names of the newly appointed district presidents.  Soon after this, the central leadership will also announce the new State BJP president, he added.
