Punjab National Bank’s Dehradun zone signed a memorandum of understanding with the Uttarakhand government on corporate salary package here on Thursday. While the Uttarakhand government was represented by the director of treasury, pension and entitlement Dinesh Chandra Lohani the Dehradun zonal manager Sacchidanand Dubey signed the memorandum on behalf of PNB, Dehradun Zone.
Dubey said after the signing ceremony that under this MoU, the bank would provide several benefits to the permanent State government employees who have accounts with the bank. The benefits include personal accident (death) insurance, permanent total disability insurance and partial disability insurance. Besides, the customers will be provided with free cheque books, housing and car loans sans processing fees and Dmat account opening facility among others.
