3rd day of IYF focuses on ancient & modern secrets of health

The 3rd day of the 37th annual International Yoga Festival at Parmarth Niketan saw participation of over a 1000 yoga enthusiasts from across 75 countries. The day started with a spiritual plenary session focused on the theme of ancient and modern secrets to health and healing. Physician and researcher known for his work in the fields of nutrition and environmental health, Dr Zach Bush said that self-love is the key for overall wellbeing while a prominent entrepreneur and spiritual seeker Amish Shah, known for his work in promoting wellness and holistic living, urged all to do what one loves and see the difference in one’s overall wellbeing. Among others present were the founder of the Saatvic Movement, Subah Saraf and wellness consultant, Harshvardhan Saraf.  

Later, Paramarth Niketan head Swami Chidanand Saraswati and Sadhvi Bhagawati Saraswati addressed the gathering of the yoga lovers.  The Swami said that    the attitude of gratitude towards the Divine is the sign of a true Yogi. 

This was followed by a musical performance- Kashi to Kailash- presented by Raja Kumari, a Grammy-nominated Indian-American rapper, singer and songwriter celebrated for her unique fusion of Eastern and Western musical traditions.
