Cong seeks CBI probe in forgery cases involving CM’s former OSD

Uttarakhand Congress has demanded that a Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) inquiry should be ordered in the forgery cases involving former officer on special duty (OSD) of Uttarakhand chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami.
The chief spokesperson of Uttarakhand Congress, Garima Dasauni said that an eighth case was registered against former OSD PC Upadhyaya and his accomplice Saurabh Vats in Dehradun on Monday.
She said that Upadhyaya and Vats were both arrested earlier also. The Congress leader said that the question arises as to who is providing support to the duo.
She said that the State administration preferred to keep its eyes closed when Upadhyaya and his gang were engaging in fraudulent activities. Dasauni said that the cases against Upadhyaya and his accomplice show the failure of not only the administration but also that of the local intelligence.
