Fix responsibility for laxity on CM helpline 1905 complaints: CM

Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami took time out of his busy schedule during his New Delhi visit on Wednesday to hold a review of the CM helpline 1905 in a virtual mode.

In the meeting the CM said that the responsibilities of the officers for the 1905 helpline should be fixed. On a stern note he directed that show- cause notices should be served to the officers for pendency in the disposal of complaints. He said that all the heads of departments should ensure that all the dues of the employees are paid within a month of retirement.

Dhami said that it is the responsibility of the government to solve the grievances of the public promptly.

 Taking cognizance of the delay in disposal of public complaints in the Revenue, Forest and Education departments the CM sought explanations from the officers concerned. In the meeting, he directed the district magistrates to undertake regular monitoring of all the complaints related to the revenue department. He said that the officers should be ensured that the public grievances should be resolved at the appropriate level and undue escalations should be avoided.

 The CM said that the officers doing prompt disposal of the complaints at the CM helpline should be felicitated.

He directed the officer to start a special campaign to dispose of the complaints which are pending for more than 180 days in the helpline.

The CM also heard public grievances in an online manner and directed the officers concerned to solve them promptly.
