In latest news from Doon, a Centre for Hindu Studies which will focus on teaching and research on the ancient spiritual thoughts and philosophies would soon be set up at the Doon University. The chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami announced this while addressing a programme organised in Haridwar to mark the Vaishaki festival.
He further said that inspired by the vision of the Prime Minister Narendra Modi in reviving the ancient wisdom bequeathed by the saints and sages in the modern context, his government has been implementing numerous projects in the revered shrines spread across Uttarakhand for the revival of Sanatan Dharma.
