A blood donation camp was held at Kumaun University’s G B Pant Library in DSB campus, Nainital. Jointly organised by several departments of the university, 29 persons, including senior functionaries and students, donated blood at the camp. While the vice chancellor Prof Diwan Singh Rawat was the chief guest the senior professor of the campus Prof Lalit Tiwari conducted the camp. The VC spoke of the importance of organising blood donation camps and exhorted students to actively participate in the interest of the society.
Further, the blood donors who had donated blood at camps more than 10 times were felicitated.
