In latest news from Uttarakhand, the Tehri district magistrate, Mayur Dixit held a meeting on Tuesday regarding the proposed/under construction/approved/constructed parking projects under the District Level Development Authority. He took information about the progress of land transfer for parking lots, site selection report and updated status of operation of constructed parking lots.
He directed the district development authority officer to transfer the parking lot constructed at Lambgaon to the Nagar Panchayat, Lambgaon, for its free operation. Along with this, he was asked to inspect the parking lots constructed under the Municipal Corporation and Nagar Panchayat areas and hand them over to the concerned Municipal Corporation/Nagar Panchayat for their free operation. Further, he was asked to complete works related to the parking lot in Chandrabadni temple complex in 15 days and to ensure smooth land transfer for construction of the multi-level parking lot below the Kriyayoga Ashram.
Moreover, the executive engineer, PWD, Narendranagar was asked to complete all pending road safety works on the alternative Neer Garh motor road in view of the expected large pilgrim turnout during Char Dham Yatra.
