PIONEER EDGE NEWS SERVICE/ Dehradun
The leader of opposition in Vidhan Sabha, Yashpal Arya has demanded a Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) probe headed by a serving judge of the High Court in the Uttarakhand Subordinate Service Selection Commission (UKSSSC) paper leak case. He said that lakhs of youngsters in the State are striving hard and putting in efforts for a government job but the State government appears very weak to deal with the copying mafia in a stern manner.
Arya said that the youngsters of the State are on path of agitation against the paper leak of the graduate level examination of UKSSSC but instead of taking it seriously the BJP government is bent on giving a communal hue to the case. He said that the government has constituted a special investigation team (SIT) in the paper leak case but the manner in which names of people associated with BJP are coming to the fore, the chances of a fair inquiry by SIT are bleak. He said that the government should immediately cancel the examination and get the paper leak investigated by CBI under the monitoring of a sitting judge of the High Court.
