Tourism Pahang has deepened its engagement with the Indian travel industry through the Pahang Roadshow to India in New Delhi and Chennai. This exclusive B2B initiative aimed to foster stronger travel and trade partnerships between Pahang in Malaysia. Organised by Tourism Pahang, the roadshow featured business networking sessions, destination presentations, and product showcases that connect Pahang’s tourism players with India’s leading travel agents, tour operators, airlines, and tourism associations.
With more than one million Indian tourist arrivals annually, India remains one of Malaysia’s top inbound markets. Thanks to visa-free travel, excellent air connectivity and a shared appreciation for culture and hospitality, Indian travellers are increasingly exploring new destinations across Malaysia — and Pahang is ready to welcome them.
“This roadshow is a platform to build lasting partnerships with India’s vibrant travel community and we are excited to introduce Pahang’s hidden treasures and iconic destinations to Indian travellers and tourism stakeholders,” said YB Puan Leong Yu Man, chairman of the Pahang State Committee on Unity, Tourism and Culture.
