DM reviews CM Helpline complaints, warns action on delayed cases

The district magistrate, Prashant Arya conducted a comprehensive review of the number of complaints registered on the CM Complaint Helpline and the Jan Samarpan Portal, their categories, the disposal rate by department and citizen feedback on Thursday.  

He directed that complaints be categorised clearly, transferred to the relevant departments in a timely manner and resolved in a manner that provides real relief to the complainant.
During the meeting, he reviewed the data on pending cases by departments and expressed displeasure with those departments where the pace of complaint resolution was slow. He warned that responsibility would be fixed for delayed cases.

He told officials that public complaints represent citizens’ trust and rights and the quality of their resolution determines the administration’s credibility.
