CTR to hold medical camp for staff, nature guides, fire watchers & gypsy drivers

Corbett Tiger Reserve will organise a comprehensive medical camp for its staff, nature guides, wildfire watchers and gypsy drivers. Stating this at a press conference on Wednesday, the deputy director, CTR, Ramnagar, Rahul Mishra said that the camp would be held on April 25 and 26 at the Forest Department’s Dhela range. “It is being organised with the support of The Doon School Old Boys’ Society and KVR Hospital and it will cater to forest department’s staff members, fire watchers, nature guides and gypsy drivers,” he said.
He further said that a host of medical tests would be conducted at the camps, including ECG, ENT check-ups, blood tests, eye examinations and other essential screenings. “We are attaching a great deal of importance to these medical camps and will leave out nothing to keep all working for us healthy,” he averred.
The paediatrician, Dr Kushal Agarwal stated that special emphasis would be placed on comprehensive health assessments of forest personnel and added that the individuals, to be diagnosed with serious illnesses at the camp, would be provided with additional medical support and facilities to help them combat and come out with full health
