Dehradun students shine in ISC & ICSE board examinations

The results for the Indian Certificate of Secondary Education (ICSE) for Class X and the Indian School Certificate (ISC) for Class XII were announced on Thursday. Students from various schools in Dehradun performed well, achieving good marks.

At Cambrian Hall, Meet Rawat topped the Class X results with 96.6 per cent, while Pratyush Shahi excelled in Class XII with 97.75 per cent. In the ICSE science stream, Rawat was the school topper, followed by Adhiraj Singh Chauhan at 95.6 per cent, Mohd Abubakar at 94.2 per cent, Darsh Khattak at 94.2 per cent, Manvi Negi at 94.2 per cent and Kavya Jatwani at 92.6 per cent. In the commerce stream, Vishesh Sharma led with 95.2 per cent, followed by Virat Kumar at 93.8 per cent, Govind Pratap Singh at 93.6 per cent, Ishant Gupta at 93.2 per cent and Yashika Thapa at 90 per cent.

In the ISC (class XII) Science stream, Shahi was the school topper, followed by Nilisha Aggarwal at 96.5 per cent, Akshar Rohilla at 96.25 per cent and Sambhavi Uniyal at 96 per cent. In the commerce stream, Mohd Naved topped with 94.5 per cent, followed by Abhinav Pant at 93.25 per cent and Anshuman Bohra at 92.25 per cent. In the humanities stream, Tenzin Jambey achieved the highest marks with 91.25 per cent, followed by Manisha Rana at 89.25 per cent.

At St Thomas College, in the ISC Science stream (Class XII), Garima Sharma achieved an impressive 98.25 per cent, followed by Ridhima Arora at 97.5 per cent and Shirsh Bamrara at 97 per cent. In the commerce stream, Swatika Naudiyal led with 97.5 per cent, followed by Mahi Aggarwal at 95.5 per cent and Jasmeet S Anand at 93.5 per cent. Additionally, in the ICSE (Class X), Aadia Sagar topped with 98.20 per cent, followed by Aarush Maheshwar at 97.60 per cent and Vaibhav Rajvanshi at 97.40 per cent.

At Brightlands School, among ISC students (Class XII), Naina Sagar achieved the highest score with an outstanding 99 per cent in the commerce stream, followed by Sparsh Wali at 98.5 per cent in the science stream and Arjun Singhal at 98.25 per cent in the science stream. In the ICSE (Class X) science stream, Agamya Agarwal and Kayvya Sati each scored 98.6 per cent, followed by Ekagrah Kakkar with 98.4 per cent.

At St Joseph’s Academy, Arush Arora and Nishad Nanda jointly secured the highest position in the ICSE Class X examinations with 99 per cent, followed by Aaradhya Joshi and Shubhankar Arora with 98.2 per cent each.

In the ISC class XII examinations, Anushka Kotnala topped the Science stream with 99.5 per cent, followed by Siya Maheshwari with 99.25 per cent. In the Commerce stream, Jaya Kapoor secured 97 per cent, with Vibhor Kaura at 95.5 per cent. In the Humanities stream, Daksh Joshi led with 98.5 per cent, followed by Riddhima Negi with 97.5 per cent.

At Welham Girls’ School, Tehzeeb Sullar secured the highest aggregate in Class XII with 99.25 per cent, while Siddhika Agarwal topped Class X with 99.20 per cent.

In Class XII, 43 students scored above 95 per cent, with 60 of 72 students securing more than 90 per cent. In Class X, 37 students achieved above 95 per cent, while 66 of 76 students scored over 90 per cent.
