Govind Ballabh Pant University of Agriculture And Technology conducted admission examinations for Masters and PhD programmes from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM on Saturday. Two exam centres were set up, one in Pantnagar and the other in Dehradun, for Master’s Degrees.
In Pantnagar, the centre was set up in the College of Technology where 502 candidates were present while 86 were absent. In Dehradun, the centre was set up in Patel Nagar-based Guru Ram Rai University where a total of 466 candidates were allotted seats while 365 wrote the exam.
For the PhD programme, the centre was set up at the College of Basic Sciences and Humanities in Pantnagar. While 549 candidates were supposed to appear, 436 of them wrote the exam.
