Achievement exhibition, public welfare camps, Press briefings & contact events from June 12 to 14

The State government will amplify achievements of the Central and State governments during the 12 years under Prime Minister Narendra Modi through various activities. Chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has directed officials that to mark the historic occasion of Modi becoming the longest serving elected PM of India, various public contact, awareness and public welfare programmes should be held across the State. The events should be held on an extensive scale to raise public awareness about public welfare works, development projects and achievements of the Centre and State. Dhami directed organising an achievement exhibition from June 12 to 14 to showcase the Centre and State’s major achievements, development works, public welfare schemes and important decisions. Public welfare camps will also be organised at every development block level. Interactions will be held with the beneficiaries of Ayushman Bharat, PM Surya Ghar Yojana, Lakhpati Didi and other welfare schemes along with the general public. Special focus will be laid on informing the public about these schemes, benefitting eligible beneficiaries and redressal of public grievances. Dhami further said that district level Press conferences should be held in each district on June 12 to raise awareness on the government’s achievements, development works and proposed programmes. He directed the officials to prepare detailed presentations on the achievements of the Central and State governments. These presentations should be based on facts, be simple to understand and should be useful for the public. Further, the ministers in-charge will hold interactive programmes in their respective districts to inform the public about the achievements, schemes and development works of the government in addition to establishing communication with public representatives, prominent citizens and various sections of society. All the programmes to be held in the State should be organised with proper coordination, effective publicity and large scale public participation.
The CM also pointed out how the nation, especially Uttarakhand have benefitted in the developmental and various other spheres during the tenure of Modi as the PM. The State government is also taking public interest and development resolutions forward at a swift pace under the PM’s guidance, he said.
