The Doon Girls’ School strengthens alumni network with first Moradabad alumni meet

As part of its 25-year journey, The Doon Girls’ School, Dehradun hosted its first Moradabad alumni meet, bringing together over 50 alumni to establish a vibrant local network focused on professional engagement and community service.

The gathering explored ways in which alumni could collaborate with local organisations and educational institutions to support initiatives such as girls’ education, women’s empowerment and environmental awareness, reflecting the values of the school and its parent body, Pushpa Devi Memorial Society.

The event also celebrated the school’s 25-year milestone and highlighted Vision 2025, including its transition into a full-fledged senior school. Board of governors representatives including education director Monisha Datta, finance director Mohit Dang and principal Shuchi Sinha shared the school’s future vision and encouraged alumni participation through mentoring, networking and social initiatives.

The newly formed Moradabad alumni network aims to strengthen alumni connections while creating meaningful opportunities for professional collaboration and community impact.
