With the post of the registrar of Kumaon University remaining vacant following the voluntary retirement of the former registrar, Mangal Singh Manral, the university administration has handed over the charge to Rajneesh Pandey as an interim arrangement. Manral had availed voluntary retirement from May 12 in compliance with the Uttarakhand High Court order.
Upon assuming office, he reviewed various administrative and academic departments of the university while expressing his commitment to further enhance the university’s academic quality, administrative efficiency, and developmental activities. He currently serves as the dean of the Faculty of Arts and head of the department of Economics.
