As part of its 121st foundation day to be observed on September 7, the Bank of India, Dehradun Zone organized a tree plantation event at Kendriya Vidyalaya, IIP Mohkampur here on Saturday.
Various saplings were planted in the school premises during the drive. The initiative aimed to promote environmental conservation, create a greener environment, and spread awareness about the importance of protecting nature. The initiative reflects the Bank’s commitment towards environmental sustainability and contributing to a greener future.
The plantation drive was conducted under the leadership and guidance of zonal manager Chetan Chandra and DZM BPS Nabiyal. Manager Manoj Butola along with other officers and staff members was also present on the occasion.
Officials said that as part of its 121st foundation day celebrations, Bank of India continues to strengthen its commitment towards social responsibility, environmental conservation, and sustainable development through such meaningful initiatives.
