The chief spokesperson of Uttarakhand Congress, Garima Dasauni has said that instead of pointing fingers at the Congress party and its leaders, chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami should show the report card of 10 years of BJP government in Uttarakhand.
Taking a dig at CM Dhami’s’ Mere Sapno Ka Uttarakhand’ , the youth dialogue programme, she said that today the CM is asking the youth about their dreams, but the youth of the State is asking him what has your government done in the past 10 years to convert our dreams into employment?
She added that though it looks nice to hear the CM ask young people about their dreams but added that what a jobless youngster who had spent years preparing for recruitment examinations only to find the recruitment process mired by paper leaks, will tell him.
Dasauni said that the government pats its back by counting employment figures but the youth of the State wants to know how many youth got permanent and respectable employment, how many recruitments were completed on time and in a transparent manner, how many posts are still vacant and how many youth of the hills got employment near their homes?
She claimed that the youth of Uttarakhand are waiting for the Vidhan Sabha elections of 2027 to teach the BJP a lesson.
