A day before mining operations commence in Udham Singh Nagar district, a meeting was called by the district mining officer which was chaired by the additional district magistrate here on Thursday. All the mining lease holders, permit holders, stone crusher, screening plant, hot mix, ready mix plant owners and storage permit holders participated in the meeting.
During the meeting, instructions were given to ensure compliance of necessary arrangements and conditions in the concerned mining leases/permits and to complete all necessary arrangements in advance so that there is no technical or procedural problem during the mining work.
Necessary information and guidelines were provided regarding mining tags, weighbridge, CCTV and MDTSS system and it was informed that time till October 15 has been given for affixing mining tags to vehicles and camps have been set up in every tehsil of the district for affixing mining tags to vehicles. Therefore, every vehicle owner/transporter must ensure that mining tags are affixed to their vehicles by the stipulated timeline.
