NTPC Tapovan launches sewing training programme

NTPC Tapovan inaugurated a sewing training programme for women’s skill development and livelihood promotion under Corporate Social Responsibility. Women from 13 villages and Jyotirmath town will benefit from this training programme, which will be conducted from 16 centres, the organisers said. All participants will be provided sewing training and necessary assistance to make them employment-oriented. Besides, each trainee participating in this four-month training programme will also be provided a sewing machine.
Along with this main inauguration ceremony, this sewing training programme will be inaugurated separately in each village and the four-month training will be started.
The chief guest of this inauguration ceremony was the project head in-charge Rajendra Kumar Joshi.
