The Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), Uttarakhand, announced Ashok Agarwal, director, KLA India Public Limited as the chairman of CII Kumaon zone and Saurabh Agarwal, director, Kumar Oxygen Pvt Ltd, and whole-time director, LSC Infratech Limited, as the vice- chairman of CII Kumaon zone.
CII sources said that Ashok Agarwal, a Gold Medalist in Mineral Engineering from IIT (ISM), Dhanbad, brings extensive industry experience in rice processing, manufacturing and exports and his leadership is expected to further strengthen CII’s engagement with industry and support industrial growth, collaboration and business development across the Kumaon region.
CII also lauded Saurabh Agarwal’s new appointment, saying that his experience across diverse industrial sectors, including industrial gases, mining and infrastructure, would help advance CII’s initiatives, fostering stronger industry partnerships across the region.
