The Motherhood University in Roorkee is offering a special programme for female students on the occasion of Navratri. In the past, on the occasion of the National Girl Child Day, the university had offered a special 50 per cent rebate on tuition fee in the first year for any course to girl students for a week. Considering the response received to the initiative, the university is providing the same offer to female students during Navratri. Any girl student wanting to benefit from this scheme should register at the university between October 17 and 25 and avail of the discount for any course except D Pharm and BEd. The university vice chancellor, professor Narendra Sharma and director (administration) Deepak Sharma informed that the main aim of this scheme is to offer better chances to girl students for progress in these competitive era.
