Task force formed to do the needful when vaccine arrives
Chief minister Trivendra Singh Rawat said that all citizens of the nation are with Prime Minister Narendra Modi in the fight against Covid-19. The PM’s address to the nation on Tuesday evening will inspire a public movement, he opined.
Following the PM’s address, the CM said that the situation in India was considerably controlled due to the timely decisions taken by Modi. In view of the Covid-19 pandemic, Rawat stressed on the need for maintaining all necessary care till success is achieved in the fight against the virus. “We should not weaken this fight until there is a vaccine for Covid. There should be no complacency till we find a medicine for this. People should continue observing precautions like wearing masks in public, maintaining social distancing and frequently washing hands,” said the CM.
He further said that to ensure necessary action in Uttarakhand when the vaccine arrives, task force has been formed at the state, district and block levels. This task force will undertake all the necessary actions including administering of the vaccine, monitoring and evaluation, he added.
