SRHU scientists find place in elite list
The names of Prakash Keshaviah and C S Nautiyal figure in the list of top 2% scientists of world
Eminent scientists Prakash Keshaviah and C S Nautiyal currently associated with Swami Ram Himalayan University (SRHU) here have found their names in the elite list of top two percent of world’s scientists. After analysing the data of all the scientists of the world, the Stanford University of California USA has recently released the list.
Congratulating the duo, the Vice Chancellor (VC) of SRHU, Vijay Dhasmana termed it a big achievement for the university. “SRHU Students will seek the benefit of their teachings and further will strengthen their knowledge in Research, Science and Technology from these two top scientists,’’ he said.
Prakash Keshaviah is a renowned name in the field of Urology and Nephrology while Nautiyal is a microbiologist. Keshaviah, alumni of IIT Madras did his Masters in Mechanical Engineering from University of Minnesota, USA and PhD in the field of biomedical research. He has published 130 papers and has got nine patents in his name. A follower of HIHT founder Swami Rama, Keshaviah has contributed significantly in setting up a dialysis unit at Himalayan Hospital Jollygrant. He is currently serving as a member of SRHU Board of Administrators and Finance Advisor. CS Nautiyal is a PhD in the field of Microbiology and has 123 research papers and 40 patents registered in his name. He has also served as VC of Doon University.
