Covid-19 vaccination- 2087 inoculated on Thursday

A total of 2087 health workers were administered the vaccine of Coronavirus on Thursday.  The Chief Operations Officer (COO) of the state Covid-19 control room, Dr Abhishek Tripathi said that 34 vaccination sessions were held on Thursday and in them 2087 workers were vaccinated. He said that a total of 136 sessions have so far been held and in them 8206 health workers have been vaccinated with the first dose of vaccine.

On Thursday 286 health workers were vaccinated in Dehradun where five vaccine sessions were organised. Similarly 198 and 197 people were vaccinated in Udham Singh Nagar and Champawat districts respectively. Incidentally only two vaccine sessions were organised in Champawat district.  In Tehri 163 people were vaccinated. Similarly 153 in Nainital, 146 in Rudraprayag, 143 in Pauri, 133 in Uttarkashi, 120 each in Chamoli and Bageshwar and 97 in Almora were inoculated with the first dose of Covishield vaccine on the day. These workers would now get administered with the second dose of vaccine after 28 days.
