ttarakhand State AIDS Control Society on Friday organised a day long sensitisation workshop for the industry at the office of the Directorate of Industries in Dehradun on Friday.
The workshop was aimed to make participants aware about HIV/AIDS and the precautions needed to check its spread. Presiding over the workshop Director Industries SC Nautiyal said the workshop was aimed to sensitise the participants about HIV/AIDS. He said discrimination against HIV/AIDS affected person needs to be curbed. Dr Saroj Naithani Director Health and Additional Project Director Uttarkhand State AIDS Control Society also gave a presentation on the subject. Harendra Garg, President SIIDCUL Association Haridwar also spoke on the subject.
The workshop was attended by members of industry and the senior officials of the directorate.
