Dry weather to prevail in state today
In what might come as a relief for people in the disaster affected area of Uttarakhand, the state meteorological centre has forecast the likelihood of dry weather prevailing in the state on Monday.
The meteorological centre has issued a warning regarding the possibility of moderate to dense fog in some parts of Haridwar and Udham Singh Nagar districts. In the provisional state capital Dehradun, the sky is forecast to be mainly clear on Monday with the maximum and minimum temperatures likely to be about 25 degrees Celsius and eight degrees Celsius respectively.
Meanwhile, on Sunday the maximum and minimum temperatures recorded in various parts of the state were 25.7 degrees Celsius and 6.1 degrees Celsius respectively in Dehradun, 22.7 degrees Celsius and 2.9 degrees Celsius in Pantnagar, 17 degrees Celsius and 2.1 degrees Celsius in Mukteshwar and 18 degrees Celsius and 3.8 degrees Celsius respectively in New Tehri.
