In a move aimed at restructuring the office of chief minister, the state administration has appointed senior IAS officer Shailesh Bagauli as secretary to the CM Tirath Singh Rawat.
Bagauli is at present holding the posts of secretary of transport, urban development and chief administrator Uttarakhand Housing and Urban Development Authority. He would continue holding these responsibilities apart for the new charge of secretary to the CM. IAS officers Amit Singh Negi and Radhika Jha were holding charge of secretary to the CM during Trivendra Singh Rawat’s period.
The administration also appointed Arunendra Chauhan as additional secretary to the CM on the day.
