More relaxations made for shops in Covid-curfew

The State government has provided some more relaxations for shops during the ongoing Covid-curfew in force till June 15.
According to the order issued by the chief secretary Om Prakash on Monday, crockery shops, hosiery shops, shops related to electronics and electronics parts, computer hardware and software/web designing, hardware, paints/sanitary, stone (marble and chips), carpenters, furniture and timber merchants will also be allowed to open on June 8 and 11 from 8 AM to 1 PM.
It will be recalled that in the standard operating procedures issued on Sunday, shops related to food packaging, clothes and readymade garments, tailoring, dry cleaners, opticians, cycle stores, industrial machinery and motor parts had been allowed to open from 8 AM to 1 PM on June 11. Now, all the above mentioned shops will be allowed to open on both June 8 and 11 from 8 AM to 1 PM.
Further, loading and unloading of all goods carriers will be permissible and all wholesalers and retailers will be allowed to load or unload goods at the godowns of their shops daily. No other changes have been made to the SOPs for this phase of the Covid-curfew.
