The provision for relaxation on land for government building construction in the zonal plan of Dehradun master plan 2025 will also be applicable to all national political parties. This and various other decisions were taken in the cabinet meeting presided over by the chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami here on Wednesday.
Cabinet minister Subodh Uniyal informed the media about the proceedings of the cabinet meeting. He informed that decisions were taken by the cabinet on a total of nine points.
The cabinet gave its approval to the proposal maximising the number of differently abled benefitting under the National Food Security Act-2013. The differently abled with an income of less than Rs 4,000 will be included under the Antyodaya Yojana while those with income of less than Rs 15,000 will be included under the priority household scheme under the cover of national food security. In another important decision, the cabinet has approved one year time period till June 30, 2022 to candidates in selection for group C posts under the purview of the Public Service Commission and outside the purview of the commission considering the impact of Covid-19.
The cabinet also gave its nod to formation of a sub-committee headed by the departmental minister for linking the two year daily work period service with time scale pay/ACP for scalers in the Uttarakhand forest development corporation. The sub committee will also include officials of the finance and legal department. In the high court case regarding the salaries and other issues pertaining to transport department employees, the cabinet authorised the chief minister to take a decision on lump sum assistance. In another important decision, the cabinet granted its approval to creation of total 501 posts in the government medical colleges in Srinagar, Dehradun and Haldwani. These posts will include 122 in the Srinagar medical college, 250 in Dehradun and 129 in Haldwani. In addition to this, there will be 44 posts of specialists for super speciality in Srinagar. The 14.50 acre land of government silk farm in Vikasnagar and Ambadi silk farm allotted for the Lakhwad Vyasi hydro electric project has been cancelled. This land will now remain with the silk department.
