Joshi made general secretary (org) of U’khand Cong

Senior leader Mathura Dutt Joshi has been appointed as the general secretary organisation of the Uttarakhand Congress. In an order on Tuesday, the president of the Pradesh Congress Committee (PCC) Ganesh Godiyal appointed Joshi on the post. He said that Joshi has been made the general secretary organisation in view of his vast organisational experience in consultation with the party high command. Joshi is considered close to former chief minister Harish Rawat and has worked as the chief spokesperson of the party in the state in the past.
Meanwhile gearing up for the proposed Parivartan Yatra, the Congress party has constituted a coordination committee. The committee has three working presidents, Ranjit Rawat, Bhuwan Kapdi and Tilak Raj Behed.
