The road leading to the India-China border region in Chamoli district has been reopened. The Malari highway had been blocked by debris between Gamshali and Niti.
The Border Roads Organisation (BRO) removed the large boulders and cleared the road to enable movement of traffic here.
Along with providing relief to locals, reopening of this road will also help the army vehicles reach closer to the border area.
