On chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami’s orders, the honorarium given to Anganwadi workers will be raised from November 2021. Dhami approved raising the honorarium of Anganwadi workers by Rs 1,800, of mini Anganwadi workers and Anganwadi assistants by Rs 1,500 each.
There are a total 14,947 Anganwadi workers, 14,947 assistants and 5,120 mini Anganwadi workers totaling to 35,014.
With this decision, Anganwadi workers will receive a monthly honorarium of Rs 9,300 while Rs 5,250 will be given to Anganwadi assistants and Rs 6,250 to mini Anganwadi workers.
