After a brief period of sunshine, the weather is expected to change in some parts of the state today. The state meteorological centre has forecast the likelihood of very light to light rain/snowfall at a few places in the mountains of Uttarakhand. While snowfall is likely to occur at places situated at and above 2,500 metres altitude, dry weather is likely to prevail in the plains of Uttarakhand. On Monday, Dehradun is likely to experience light rain/thunderstorm in some areas.
The maximum and minimum temperatures are likely to be around 22 degrees Celsius and 12 degrees Celsius respectively here on Monday. The maximum and minimum temperatures on Sunday were 25.1 degrees Celsius and 11.7 degrees Celsius respectively in Dehradun, 26.1 degrees Celsius and 12 degrees Celsius in Pantnagar, 15.6 degrees Celsius and 6.4 degrees Celsius in Mukteshwar and 15.6 degrees Celsius and eight degrees Celsius in New Tehri.
