In protest against what it terms phony announcements made by the chief minister (CM) Pushkar Singh Dhami, the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) would take out a bike rally in all assembly constituencies of Dehradun on December 19. The spokesperson of AAP, Navin Peershali said on Saturday that the CM Dhami has gone on a spree of making announcements but they are not visible anywhere on the ground.
He said that recently a Right to Information (RTI) query revealed that Dhami after assuming the office of CM has made 1090 announcements but the Government Orders (GO) for the execution of announcements have been issued on only 163 announcements. Pirshali said that the AAP workers would take out the bike rally to make the people aware about the announcements and awake the CM out of slumber.
