In view of Swachchh Survekshan 2022 (SS22), the Muni Ki Reti municipality raised awareness among the locals for proper garbage disposal on Thursday. The teams of the civic body encouraged people to segregate their waste before disposing of it. They encouraged people to dispose of their garbage within their respective wards through ways like composting. The officials also marked a specific place for the disposal of the garbage in ward two and placed dustbins for the disposal of organic and inorganic waste separately. The ward was also declared as Atmanirbhar Ward to encourage locals to dispose of their maximum garbage on their own.
The sanitation inspector Bhupendra Panwar and Deepak Kumar of the health section were also present during the awareness programme.
