The national convener of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) and Delhi chief minister Arvind Kejriwal is likely to arrive in Uttarakhand this week to release the party’s manifesto or Guarantee Patra for the ensuing assembly elections scheduled to be held on February 14. Kejriwal, who is also one of the star campaigners of AAP is scheduled to visit the state this weekend as per the party’s state in-charge Dinesh Mohaniya but he did not reveal other details about Kejriwal’s slated arrival. However, he did indicate that Kejriwal will be releasing the party’s manifesto this week. He informed that the party has also formed separate manifestos for all Assembly constituencies as per their respective issues and requirements besides making a main manifesto for the state and those will be released the same day too. According to the chief ministerial candidate of AAP, Ajay Kothiyal, the party has prepared its manifesto on the basis of 71,249 suggestions of people which the party collected under a campaign from November 9 to January 31 from people across the state. He said that AAP has formed manifestos with a proper plan of their execution after winning the election rather than making bogus promises just to woo voters like the other political parties in the state. The AAP leaders also informed that besides releasing the party’s Guarantee Patra, Kejriwal will also participate in the ongoing door to door campaign of the party to interact with locals. However, the party members have not clearly stated about the constituency where the senior AAP leader will participate in the door to door campaign.
