Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar has been named as the brand ambassador of Uttarakhand state. The actor met Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami at the CM residence in Dehradun on Monday. Dhami presented Pahadi cap and a bouquet of flowers to the actor during which the latter accepted the proposal presented by Dhami to work as the brand ambassador of Uttarakhand. Akshay has been shooting for his upcoming film which is a Hindi remake of the Tamil film Ratsasan in Mussoorie with actress Rakulpreet Singh. Apart from Akshay, cricketer Rishabh Pant was also appointed as brand ambassador of the poll-bound state in December 2021.
