The police personnel in Dehradun will cast their votes through postal ballots on February 9 and 10 at the Police Line in Race Course ahead of ensuing assembly elections. The Deputy Inspector General (DIG) and the senior superintendent of police (SSP) of Dehradun Janmejaya Khanduri informed that a camp will be organised in the Police Line where police personnel of all the branches of police department located in Dehradun , Special Task Force (STF), Police Headquarters, State Disaster Relief Force (SDRF), IRB II, Intelligence and Security Headquarters, Garhwal Zone, Vigilance Headquarters, Crime Research Department, Directorate of Traffic, Police Communication Headquarters, Fire and Emergency Services, Raj Bhavan security, Chief Minister’s security and other such police personnel or employees appointed in other branches who are eligible to caste vote in the assembly elections will vote through postal ballot on Wednesday and Thursday.
