A 70-member team from the Bharatiya Janata Party’s Uttarakhand unit will participate in the poll campaigning in neighbouring Uttar Pradesh where the third phase of polling was held on Sunday. The polling in Uttar Pradesh is being held in seven phases and is set to conclude on March 7. The BJP Uttarakhand media in-charge Manveer Chauhan informed that under the guidance of the party’s state general secretary (Organisation), about 70 to 80 prominent party workers from Uttarakhand will participate in the party’s poll campaign in the neighbouring state. They will campaign for the party candidates in different areas of UP along with the party candidates of that state. Along with these party workers, other prominent party leaders from Uttarakhand will also campaign in the remaining four phases in UP, added Chauhan.
