BJP coming back to power with thumping majority in U’khand – CM Dhami

Exuding confidence ahead of the counting of the votes, the chief minister of Uttarakhand Puskhar Singh Dhami said on Tuesday that the BJP is coming back to power in the state with an overwhelming majority. Talking to the media persons at his residence he said that most of the exit polls have predicted a BJP government in the state. Dhami  added that he is confident that the party would perform exceedingly well than shown in the exit polls. Dhami said that all the party workers, Panna Pramukhs, booth presidents worked very hard and due to this the BJP is getting the blessing of the people of the state for formation of the government in Uttarakhand. He said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi many development works such as construction of roads, hospitals, All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), Bharat Mala projects and Rishikesh – Karnprayag rail project. Dhami said that he is confident that the people have given their blessings to BJP on the works done by the central and state government.  Taking a dig at the Congress party, the CM said that the Congress was nowhere in the elections and it was without any issue. “After the end of the voting the Congress leaders were blowing their own trumpet but now we would celebrate on March 10,’’ he quipped.

Earlier in the day the Chief Minister visited Hanol in Chakrata and paid obeisance to the Mahasu Devta where he offered prayers for the happiness and well being of the people of the state.
