Dehradun-based orthopaedic surgeon Dr Gaurav Sanjay, was honoured with Best Medical Social Worker award for medical and social work by Six Sigma Star Healthcare in Delhi recently. This honour was presented to him by Union minister Anurag Thakur along with Six Sigma Star Healthcare CEO Dr Pradeep Bhardwaj
It is worth mentioning here that in addition to serving patients with his medical skills, Dr Sanjay is also contributing regularly to society through free health camps and free public awareness lectures, especially on road traffic accidents. In the field of orthopaedics, he is spreading information by giving free public awareness lectures on diseases related to bones and joints. His name has been recorded in India Book of Records for his distinguished social work. He has given public awareness lectures on road safety in more than 50 educational institutions.
Apart from this, he is also a guest columnist in various newspapers where he writes on common orthopaedics problems for which his name has also been recorded in the International Book of Records.
