The provisional state capital Dehradun is likely to experience a hotter Sunday with the temperature forecast to rise further. According to the state meteorological centre’s forecast, the maximum temperature in Dehradun is likely to be 38 degrees Celsius in Sunday. The city is likely to experience mainly clear sky with the maximum and minimum temperatures likely to be about 38 degrees Celsius and 19 degrees Celsius respectively. Dry weather is forecast to prevail in the districts of the state on Sunday.
Meanwhile, the maximum and minimum temperatures recorded in various parts of the state on Saturday were 36.8 degrees Celsius and 18.5 degrees Celsius respectively in Dehradun, 37.4 degrees Celsius and 17 degrees Celsius in Pantnagar, 27 degrees Celsius and 13.2 degrees Celsius in Mukteshwar and 26 degrees Celsius and 15 degrees Celsius respectively in New Tehri.
