Padma Shri recipient and noted orthopaedic and spine surgeon Dr BKS Sanjay was presented the Lifetime Achievement Award by Uttarakhand Orthopaedic Association at the Uttarakhand Orthopaedic Conference.
Dr Sanjay is the founder president of Uttarakhand chapter of Indian Orthopaedic Association. In the past 20 years, he has been honoured for his distinguished services to humanity by various professional and social organisations. He has done his orthopaedic training from PGI Chandigarh and Safdarjung hospital, Delhi. Dr Sanjay has also been awarded meritorious foreign fellowship from Sweden, Switzerland, Japan, USA, Australia and Russia.
Orthopaedic surgeon Dr Gaurav Sanjay also shared his experience of surgery in CP disabled children during the Uttarakhand Orthopedic Conference.
