The speaker of Uttarakhand Assembly, Ritu Khanduri met the Governor of Kerala Arif Mohammad Khan at Raj Bhawan in Thiruvananthapuram on Saturday. The duo discussed the tourism activities in Kerala and Uttarakhand and held interaction on development issues and other subjects during the meeting. The Kerala Governor congratulated Khanduri for being the first women speaker of Uttarakhand assembly and shared his parliamentary experience with her. Khanduri is on a visit to Kerala. During her visit she took part in the National Conference of Women Legislators held in Thiruvananthapuram. In the convention women ministers in Union and state governments, women Speakers, deputy speakers, women Member of Parliament (MP) and MLAs participated.
