Modi Govt has transformed the era in 8 years- BJP

Monday, 06 June 2022 | PNS | Dehradun

Union minister of State Jitendra Singh opined that during its eight years in office the government headed by Prime Minister Narendra Modi had not only transformed the era but has also given birth to a new work culture. This is the reason for Modi’s rising popularity.

Addressing the media at the Bharatiya Janata Party State office on Sunday, Singh recalled that as soon as he assumed office PM Modi had said that his government was the government of the poor. This sentiment of the government is clearly visible in central schemes, he said. Singh said that opponents continued to criticise the government in these eight years but their families became fans of the Modi government’s schemes. The Modi government has focused on development of all sections without any bias, said Singh. The minister further said that the BJP is undertaking a programme to ensure the public’s access to government schemes from the village to the State level. Singh further said, “Generally the popularity of a leader drops after a long time in the government but the popularity of the Modi government has increased. PM Modi has introduced various schemes with the resolve for development. These schemes are proving directly helpful to the public. The minister also listed various prominent schemes being executed by the Central government. Recalling the attitude of past governments towards the north east, he said that the Modi government had facilitated rail, air-service and other developments in the north-eastern region.

The BJP State president Madan Kaushik, state general secretaries Kuldeep Kumar, Anil Goel and others were present on the occasion.
