ED Notice to RaGa- Cong to hold protest today
Monday, 13 June 2022 | PNS | Dehradun
The Uttarakhand Congress would organise a protest at the office of Enforcement Directorate (ED) at Cross road Dehradun on Monday. The protest is part of the nationwide programme of the Congress party to protest against what it terms the use of central agencies to harass the opposition leaders.
The protest would be led by the Pradesh Congress Committee (PCC) president Karan Mahara. All the senior leaders of the party, the MLAs, former MLAs, office bearers of frontal organisations and Congress workers would participate in the programme.
The Congress party is furious after the ED served notice to former President of Congress Rahul Gandhi in the National Herald case. The PCC president Mahara said that the farmers and the unemployed of the country are on a path of agitation and the poor are reeling under an onslaught of prices. He said that since Rahul Gandhi continuously raises his voice for these sections of the society, the Modi government is harassing him by using central agencies.
