Invertis University has secured National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) accreditation. According to its officials, it is one of the largest multidisciplinary universities in Uttar Pradesh to be assessed by NAAC’s revised methodology. In the new accreditation process, about 70 per cent of weightage is assigned to quantitative metrics. Invertis submitted various documentary evidences and scored well under each criterion, said the university officials.
Notably, the NAAC accreditation ascertains the quality of an institute in terms of curricular aspects, teaching-learning and evaluation, research, infrastructure, student support, governance and institutional values. Invertis, with a student network of more than one lakh and more than 400 faculty members, offers programmes in the disciplines of engineering, law, science and humanities, management, fashion design, journalism, pharmacy, agricultural sciences and education.
“We are thrilled to have received the best grade from NAAC after the rigorous assessment process. We are committed to empowering students to become valuable citizens of society. At Invertis, we enable practical exposure along with theoretical knowledge, via the setting up of incubation labs for start-ups, internships, implementation of faculty industry immersion programme and scheduled interaction sessions between students and industry leaders,” said the university chancellor Umesh Gautam.
